At the Cultural History Museum of Åland you can follow the Åland history from the first seal hunters who landed on barren islands to today's global and multicultural society.

In the same building is the Åland Art Museum, which presents art through paintings, sculptures and installations. Special exhibitions are arranged continuously.

The Åland Maritime Museum is a destination for both adults and children. Take part in the interactive exhibitions where exciting stories and fantastic objects bring Åland's maritime cultural heritage to life in a completely new way. Climb a mast, enter a jetty or go on a treasure hunt with Ruby the ship's rat. The museum is open all year round, the museum ship Pommern is open for visits May-September.
